The Problem

The answer exists. It is spread across several systems and somebody’s inbox.

Margin is in the ledger, customers are in the CRM, commitments are in the contract folder and the context is in an email thread. Most executive questions cross all of them.

When the CEO asks why margin moved or which customers are paying late, the challenge isn't asking the question. It's pulling the right records from each system, computing the answer correctly, and being able to show where every number came from.

So each question becomes a request to finance, a few exports and a day of reconciliation. General-purpose AI chat does not fix that: without your records it has nothing to compute from, and nothing to check the answer against.

What Farsight DS Does

Reporting & Decision Support, in practice.

Ask in plain language

Questions are routed to agents that know finance, contracts, workforce, operations and risk, and that use the tools for each domain rather than answering from general knowledge.

Retrieval over your own knowledge

Before answering, Farsight DS searches your documents, email, forms and company knowledge by meaning, so the answer starts from what your organization actually recorded.

Computed, not generated

Figures come from queries against your connected data, and tables and charts are built from the rows those queries returned — not written by the model.

Sources shown

Each answer shows the records, documents and correspondence it relied on, so it can be checked rather than simply trusted.

The daily brief

What changed, what it means and what needs a decision — assembled every morning from every connected module and ranked by consequence.

Reporting workspace

Recurring reports and commentary drafted against the actual numbers, then edited rather than written from scratch.

See It in Practice
A board member asks a question

“Why did gross margin drop two points last quarter?”

The question is asked in plain language. Farsight DS routes it to the finance agent, queries the ledger by product line, finds the supplier price increase in the contract file, and answers with the figures and the sources attached.

Implementation services
Make It More Powerful

Reporting & Decision Support on its own is useful. Connected, it is a different product.

Start with Reporting & Decision Support and the systems you already run. Each module below adds context the others can use — none of them is a prerequisite.

One product
Solve a specific problem.
A single Farsight DS product delivers value on its own, against the systems you already run. This is a complete, useful deployment — not a phase one.
+ ForecastingAsk about the plan, not only the actuals
Questions can reach the forward forecast and its drivers, so “what happens if” is answered from the model rather than estimated.
+ ContractsAnswer from the agreement itself
Extracted terms, obligations and renewal dates become answerable, with the clause shown alongside the answer.
+ Risk ManagementBrief the risks that moved
Threshold breaches and new investigation items appear in the daily brief, ranked alongside everything else that changed.
Every product is useful on its own. Nothing here is a prerequisite for anything else.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How is this different from a general AI chat tool?

It answers from your records. Questions are routed to agents that query your connected systems and search your documents, email and company knowledge, and the answer shows the sources it relied on.

Can we check where an answer came from?

Yes. Each answer shows the records, documents and correspondence behind it, and tables and charts are built from the rows the underlying queries returned.

Who can ask about what?

Answers are drawn only from information the person asking is allowed to see, so access follows each person’s role and responsibilities.

What is the daily brief?

A focused view of what changed, what it means and what needs a decision, assembled every morning from every connected module and ranked by consequence.

Does Farsight DS replace our ERP, CRM or other systems?

No. Your ERP, CRM, HRIS, operational systems and document repositories stay where they are and remain where the work gets done. Farsight DS reads from them and connects the information across them.

Do we have to license the other products?

No. Every product is useful on its own, and none is a prerequisite for another. Each one you add gives the others more context, so start with the one you need and add more when they create value.
